Литургические тексты богослужения в честь мученика Мокия говорят о событии Основания Города. Ровно 1600 лет спустя, в 1930 турецкий вождь Ататюрк приказал переименовать Константинополь в Стамбул. Некоторые благочестивые люди, ради памяти великих святых, просиявших в этом городе за всю его историю, по обету продолжают именовать его Константинополем и по сей день. К слову, на славянских Балканах он до сих пор называется Царьградом, то Городом Императора, в а Греции и на Кипре Константинополем.
